Hi, all –
Yes, it’s been a longish dry spell. Lots of work hours, finally bought some land, house design in process – more on all that later.
For the moment, I have a fun treat for you. Almost a year ago, I went to Sew Pro and had some things to say about it. I met quite a few Names(TM) in the Quilt Biz, like Tula Pink, Alison Glass, and Christa Watson. Well, Christa has a new Craftsy class out.
It’s called “Start Up Library: Quilting.” It’s definitely intended to be a start-to-finish guide to making your first quilt. And it’s great at that. You know what else it’s great at? Filling in the gaps for autodidacts like me, who may have missed some of the finer points while teaching ourselves to quilt in our little introvert hamster balls. Christa uses lots of great visuals to illustrate her points. Up to, and including, some “what not to do” examples. Everything is well presented, clear, and very worthwhile.
And because Christa is a gem, and wants you to succeed, she shared a link you can use to get it at 50% off, through October 8, 2017.
Off you go, my darlings, to learn new things from Christa.
